•Mining and industrial applications where preformed hose is required. Can be supplied with thickend inner liner or outer arc, if required.
Liners available are Type A (neoprene for oil resistance), Type F (water, air and mild acid resistance) and Type H (abrasion resistant).
Integrally Built – in Hose End Couplings
HD 890 Couplings
These couplings use a “D” ring and revolving flange. The hose reinforcement passes around the “D” ring and provides excellent end pull strength. The revolving flange provides for easy bolt installation. The moulded rubber facing gives excellent sealing with all flange drillings.
Type 4 Couplings
These couplings are recommended for a variety of hand-built hose. The perforated metal spigot is integrally built into the hose wall and forms a strong connection between the flange and the hose. Flange face is rubber covered and is continuous with the inner liner.
Type 5 Couplings
These perforated spigot flanged end connections are constructed of heavier perforated plate than Type 4 couplings and are recommended for high pressure service.
Type 6 Couplings
This (old designation H121) perforated spigot coupling has a length of unperforated spigot adjacent to flange to provide easy bolt installation and is recommended for ASA flange drillings normally specified for petroleum and chemical industry hose. Coupling is extremely strong and is recommended for a wide range of high pressure hand-built hoses.
